Alcohol linked to breast cancer

Good Morning Campers!

It’s Friday and that means it’s time for the weekend. Maybe
you have some shopping planned. Maybe it’s a holiday party
featuring various forms of “nog.” Or maybe it’s just a
couple of days to rest and relax.

Robin is off today. Our pal Christi Paul will be filling in on
the anchor desk this morning to get you informed for the day
ahead.

Here’s what were working on.

Baby, it’s cold outside. There are going to be some
unusually frigid temps all around the country this morning.
Also, there continues to be more snow and even blizzard
warnings in some parts of the upper Midwest.

And if that wasn’t enough, there is another major storm
forming out west. We’ll tell you what you can expect for the
weekend weather in your neck of the woods.

There is apparently a new link between alcohol consumption
and the recurrence of breast cancer. It’s something you
need to hear if you or a loved one is a cancer survivor.

Imagine you are in Times Square. You’re taking in the sites,
getting your picture taken, doing some shopping or getting
ready to eat lunch…and then a police shootout happens.
That’s exactly what happened yesterday. You’ve got to
tune in to find out how it all ended.

A tip from me to you: when making a bet with your
friends on a football game…keep it simple. Maybe a dollar or
a cup of coffee… simple.

Well one Redskins fan is out a 60-inch-tv after he told his New
Orleans Saints fan-friends: if the Saints beat the Skins, you
can come shoot the television. Well, one field goal and a
15-man firing squad later, the TV is gone. The best part? WE
HAVE THE VIDEO.

Gotta run. Have a great weekend!
