11th body found at sex offender’s house
Good Morning Campers!
It’s a busy day here at Morning Express headquarters. Lots of
stories to get your day started. Robin is off , but super-sub
Natasha Curry will be back in the anchor seat again today.
Robin sent us this note to pass along to all of our newsletter
friends:
Hi early bird club! Before we get started with the news on
the show: Thanks for your well wishes for my hubby’s back
surgery. That’s why I’ve been out some days this week…(Not
sipping on a margarita on a beach somewhere, ha!) He’s still in
hospital but will be home very soon. I’ll be back on the tube
tomorrow. Thanks Robin.
We are getting new details this morning of another body
being found inside that house belonging to a sex offender in
Cleveland. That raises the total to 11. And for the first
time, we’re hearing from the man’s attorney.
The House version of the health care bill is getting a key
endorsement today. The AARP is reportedly backing the new
version of the bill. As you probably know, the AARP is the
biggest lobby for people over 50. Will their backing help with
the vote expected to happen Saturday?
We have new surveillance video with a twist. A prison
inmate starts attacking a guard in Florida. And then a big
group of inmates jumped in… to help the guard. You gotta see
it.
As much as it pains me as a Red Sox fan to say this:
Congratulations to the New York Yankees. Last night the
Bronx Bombers clinched their 27th World Series last night.
Rafer and the sports team are following that…. as well as the
story about Michael Jordan’s son reportedly wearing his
dad’s line of shoes during his college basketball team.
So now, Adidas won’t be sponsoring that team anymore. We want
to get your thoughts on that story. You can comment on our web
site or on our Facebook page. Just go to
http://www.cnn.com/robin for more details.
Well that’s it for now. We’ll see you on the television.
