Learn English, or NO GOLF! – email me about a new language rule

Morning Sunshine
wow are wednesdays ever busy…you too?
—–
if you went to bed before senator hillary clinton’s big
night at the dnc..here’s some of what she said:
obama “must be our president”
“no way, no how, no mccain”
but did her message satisfy her faithful…and unify the party?

more on that.
—-
is former virginia governor mark warner the next star of
the democratic party? we’ll check out his message to the
delegates…
——
personally, i was caught off guard by the way montana’s
governor was able to whip the crowd into a frenzy. more of
those clips
we’ll have the republican party’s response to the comments at
the dnc…and how sen mccain’s camp hopes to win over any
disenfranchised clinton supporters.
——–
you gotta email me about this:
the LPGA is requiring its players LEARN ENGLISH.
and those who don’t pass a test…could eventually get
suspended.
(in case you’re not into women’s golf: there are 121
international players, 45 of which are from south korea….and
from what i can gather they are feeling especially targeted)

is the “must speak english rule” fair…considering the
sponsors and fans want to be able to interact with the players?

or…should players just be graded on their game, not their
language skills?
go to cnn.com/robin and hit the “contact us” button.

i’ll read your comments on air.
———-
Gustav has been downgraded…..for now.
but we’ll show you why the gulf coast region (including new
orleans) is watching this storm VERY closely.
———-
a woman survives FIVE DAYS after a car crash. you’ll
hear from her emotional husband.
———-
and then: no cartwheels in australia schools? oh come on
you’ve got to be kidding me!
So there’s a snapshot of what the show will look like. See you
in your jammies as you get ready for your day.

  1. Laura says:

now I don’t play golf but I dont think you need to know english to hit the little white ball with the big club…English is a hard language to learn with all of our commonly used slang terms and all.
